TEMPO is a durational performance installation that takes the form of a bar where time is out of joint. The bar accommodate one guest at a time, and the guest is given a pair of headphones through which they can listen to the bar's jukebox and talk with the bartender. Beside the bar, there are four headphones hanging from the ceiling, where other audience members can hear the music and eavesdrop on the conversation between the bartender and the guest.

The bar offers snacks and the Finnish drink Sima, which the bartender and the guest also prepare together. Between small talk, karaoke singing, slow dancing, and Christmas decorating, the tempo of the bar’s soundtrack and the bartender’s pace gradually slow down. At first, the change is barely noticeable, but after a while, you are passing raisins, explaining something trivial, or singing karaoke in slow motion.
